  • Job Details
  • General job duties include caring for all ages of patients in an ICU setting with 11 beds, including ventilated patients, post cardiac cath, IABP, sepsis, COPD, post-op surgical, trauma, limited neuro, and DKA patients.
  • Equipment utilized includes Meditec charting, bedside verification for medication administration, Vent, Bipap, Swan, Phillips monitors, IV pumps, and Transvenous pacers.
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required, with tele experience and ability to read EKG.
    • Job Requirements
    • WY or compact nursing license required.
    • BLS certification required.
    • ACLS certification required.
    • PALS or ENPC certification required, though not the primary for pediatric patients.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are negotiable but will be 12 hours, could be rotating or straight.
      • Call is not required but may be asked occasionally.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 2 or 3 patients per nurse generally.
        • 3 shifts of orientation with ICU RN on the floor, no classroom orientation.
          • Additional Details
          • Proficient treating ICU and Tele patients required.
          • Proficient treating ventilated patients, post cardiac cath lab, IABP, sepsis, COPD, post-op, trauma required.
          • Proficient with Tele and ability to read EKG required.
