ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Operates and observes the operation of conveying equipment, coal breakers, and reciprocating loaders.Assists with the loading and unloading of coal in the coal handling system.Reads a weightometer.Keeps area around conveyors clean as assigned. Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Safety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.RequirementsHigh school diploma or proof of equivalent GED.Prior experience with hand tools and small power tools.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, or greater.Must Pass a physical exam, upon request.
