ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Operates and observes the operation of conveying equipment, coal breakers, and reciprocating loaders.
• Assists with the loading and unloading of coal in the coal handling system.
• Reads a weightometer.
• Keeps area around conveyors clean as assigned. Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Safety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Requirements
  • High school diploma or proof of equivalent GED.
  • Prior experience with hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, or greater.
  • Must Pass a physical exam, upon request.

    • If assigned inside the Plant may walk 50% of day.
